My garden has resemble a wasteland for several years. Paul and Eddie started work on it early on Monday morning and by Saturday afternoon they had transformed it into a lawn, neatly edged with brick paving, with a flower bed at the rear ready for new plants. They carried on working through terrible weather and left everything clean and tidy when they’d finished.
They are reliable, helpful, hard working and very polite and I can highly recommend them. I have already asked Paul to do more gardening work for me.

Never underestimate the importance of separating flower beds from lawn areas. Edging in garden can be done using various materials.
Most recommended material by us for edging in garden will be paving block ( concrete paving block ) Be it an edging block in red, brindle or charcoal colour. These are the colour options.
Cheaper of course would be materials like log rolls – various designs. We don’t recommend these. Will not last long and of course you still need a strimmer to cut the grass along this edge.
Most expensive one is of course natural stone. Comes in different shapes, colours, sizes and prices… Very good choice if your budget allows for it.

Paul recently re-landscaped my front lawn. He removed so serious hard to get tree stumps, levelled out the ground, relaid the lawn and finished off by doing some pave edgings for some rose bushes. The quality of his work was really good and he even started the work on the Easter Monday Bank Holiday. I have already recommended him to my brother and will do the same to those who ask who did the work. Excellent work by a polite and friendly chap.

Landscaping of a front yard in Reading
Identified problems:
- Lawn too high and growing into the pathways, pavements. Soil has built up over the years.
- No proper border / edging between rose beds and lawn
- Lawn difficult to mow / maintain.
What’s been done:
- Removed old turf and excess soil and levelled all the area, returfed.
- Edged all flower beds and tree with bricks
- Cutting a lawn is now much easier thanks to all the edging

Turfing gardens in Reading. We use top quality turf supplied by Warfield Turf services.
We either use:
- a premium turf which has superior appearance.
- or RTF turf which has some other benefits to it like; drought resistance, ability to withstand being waterlogged, better shade tolerance, also self repairing feature due to its rhizomatous growth
Before laying turf we prepare the ground in the best possible way. We rotovate, level, incorporate organic matter into existing soil to support new laid turf.
