Phoned Paul to quote for cutting a large conifer hedge in my daughters garden, he arrived on time and quoted a very fair price so we agreed a day to do the work. On the day he was prompt and set to work straight away and didn’t really stop for about 4 hours!! Everything was cleared away and he even used a blower on the lawn to remove the last pieces! Excellent bloke and would certainly use him again. Highly recommended.

I just wanted to recommend Paul as a gardener. I met him for the first time this week , I wanted a local gardener. He is so polite , pleasant and happy to please. May 2022, Paul and the team are steadily improving the whole garden of over 0.5acres. We communicate well on what he thinks and what we want so he builds trust quickly. The team are not the cheapest but they do work harder than other gardeners so there’s overall good value.

Paul provides an unusual service – he knows what he’s doing! He can identify and name most plants, especially the difference between weeds and perennials unlike several of his competitors in the area. Added to that knowledge Paul and Radek provided a good service and created a very tidy garden in a few hours. Recommended.

April 2020 What a transformation! We recently moved into a property where the hedges had been neglected for years, and were massively overgrown. Paul and his colleague cut the hedges right back and shaped them nicely. Removed bramble that had become embedded in the hedges, and ivy that had taken over the garden. Paul and colleague did a superb job trimming back a long run of mixed bushes that had been in place over 30 years. We wanted them cut back in size for easier trimming, and Paul first advised us what to do and warned us how it would look for a few months until the leaves grew back. Paul did a very good job clearing an overgrown garden for my father. He worked around all the plants and shrubs so they could grow again and also ground some tree stumps to free up new space.

We asked Paul at Tidy Gardens to undertake a major garden clearance – topping out overgrown trees, taking out and thinning bushes and general ground clearance.
Not only did his team do an outstanding job, but was flexible around timing, offered us great advice and even kept the neighbours happy. We could not recommend him highly enough to others who need either a major makeover like us or regular maintenance.

Paul and his colleague had their work cut out with our very overgrown garden. Turning up promptly at the time they said they would, they cracked on and very soon had cleared the ivy, brambles and nettles that had taken over. They also trimmed two mature and large hedges as well as mature shrubs and gave the patio area a very thorough weed and clean. All the waste was swept up and taken away. I could not have asked for any more from them – Thank you both very much.
