Chosen by chance and struck gold. Hard work completed with good humour based on Paul’s considerable knowledge and experience.

Excellent service! Paul came round the same day he was contacted and carried out an excellent job tidying the garden and removing some trees and shrubs just a couple of days later.Read more

I had a large tree stump in a really inaccessible raised area, full of other overgrown shrubs/brambles/general jungle. Paul agreed to do the work on a Saturday to suit my calendar, and worked like a Trojan for a number of hours until the stump was no more. He also did a couple of small stumps/large roots that were nearby while he was there. Great job, neat and tidy, and a nice guy to do business with, I can highly recommend him. I see he also managed to update his website with a few pictures … Read more

Paul and the team are steadily improving the whole garden of over 0.5acres. We communicate well on what he thinks and what we want so he builds trust quickly. The team are not the cheapest but they do work harder than other gardeners so there’s overall good value.Read more

Despite dreadful weather, Paul arrived punctually and worked tirelessly carrying out excellent work. He left the area perfectly clean and 'tidy'. I was most impressed and now that my huge hedge has been brought under control I will be hiring Tidy Gardens on a regular basis.Read more

Paul and Eddie spent a day clearing our very overgrown garden. They worked really hard for a good price and now I can see our flower beds again and can start planting them with proper plants rather than watch brambles and ivy take over the space. They also left the garden really tidy, which I appreciated. Have already asked Paul to quote for another job.Read more

Paul came very promptly to quote for chopping our enormous budliea. His quote was very reasonable and he returned next day to carry out the work. Very professional, gave sound advice about other plants in the garden, did a great job and took all rubbish away. Also cleaned up very thoroughly afterwards. I would gladly have him back for more work and recommend him to friends. Thanks Paul!Read more

Paul has been reshaping and clearing my garden borders which has involved removing ivy from a wall, digging up some small trees, taming the climbing plants and clearing and turning over the soil in order to plant or relocate new shrubs.
I can now see the small garden path which had been covered in weeds for years! The shrubs now have a chance to thrive and survive the winter. Throughout, he has been industrious and thorough in tackling each of the problem areas. He is also knowledgeable… Read more

April 2020 What a transformation! We recently moved into a property where the hedges had been neglected for years, and were massively overgrown. Paul and his colleague cut the hedges right back and shaped them nicely. Removed bramble that had become embedded in the hedges, and ivy that had taken over the garden. We also had a couple of trees removed. This mammoth task was completed in a day, and although the garden looks bare this needed to be done to really open up the space, and will allow fo… Read more

Paul and team did a great job in tidying the garden at our new house - cleared overgrown borders, removed ivy and vine from fences etc - we can now see the wood for the trees so to speak! They removed all waste and left garden looking a great deal better. Most companies didn't even bother to reply to inquiries, Tidy Gardens was the only one who could do the work in a reasonable timescale. Will definitely use again.Read more

September 2019 - Fence work From first contact to completion, it has been a pleasure to deal with Paul and his colleagues. Very quick to respond. Very honest in assessment and advice. Took his advice are very happy with the result. Ours was a relatively small job, but still felt like offering the same help as if it were a big job was important to him. Will definitely use again when opportunity arises. Our thanks to Paul and his team.Read more

Phoned Paul to quote for cutting a large conifer hedge in my daughters garden, he arrived on time and quoted a very fair price so we agreed a day to do the work. On the day he was prompt and set to work straight away and didn't really stop for about 4 hours!! Everything was cleared away and he even used a blower on the lawn to remove the last pieces! Excellent bloke and would certainly use him again. Highly recommended.Read more

I'm very happy to recommend Paul. He was very smooth and quick, after I phoned him initially, he came around 2 days after to have a look on the work to be carried out, and he gave me a quote on the following day. I'm very happy with the results, it was a complex task, by first clearing a jungle and landscaping, and 2nd round was surface evening and turfing. I'm amazed by the results I got for my money. No doubt I will call him again if new tasks come up.Read more
