Oak sleepers in a garden
If you ever use sleepers in your garden always use hardwood. Oak being hardwood will last a long time either as an edge, retaining wall or raised beds.
Here’s latest project in pictures.
Here’s latest project in pictures.
Returfing around 80m2 but also flattening future lawn areas and creating two flower beds separated with some oak sleepers.
Today we visited this garden again to do some planting. Being a rented property we needed something easy yet still attractive.
Choice has been accepted and Lonicera Baggesen’s gold have been supplied and planted by us. As these grows they will create a low, dense green carpet. No need for lots of hated weeding and very easy to trim too.
Final few photos below
It wasn’t our first visit to this garden. Not so long ago we’ve also done some work there.. and we got few words from a customer then !

We have had to wait awhile for our desired plants but when they arrived, we’ve come and planted them same day !
Plants to include a colourful line of euonymouses , phlox and erysimum as ground cover, a couple of nice viburnums and weigellas, also some lovely sarcococcas and cryptomeria.
