We asked Paul of Tidy Gardens to carry our some lawn levelling and turfing work following construction of a new patio. All work was carried out in a professional but friendly manner and to our satisfaction. We are very pleased with the result and would recommend the team to other clients.

Paul came very promptly to quote for chopping our enormous budliea. His quote was very reasonable and he returned next day to carry out the work. Very professional, gave sound advice about other plants in the garden, did a great job and took all rubbish away. Also cleaned up very thoroughly afterwards. Paul and his colleague had their work cut out with our very overgrown garden. Turning up promptly at the time they said they would, they cracked on and very soon had cleared the ivy, brambles and nettles that had taken over. They also trimmed two mature and large hedges as well as mature shrubs and gave the patio area a very thorough weed and clean. All the waste was swept up and taken away. Tidy Gardens replaced about 10 fencing panels that had suffered in the recent storms. The new panels were of a high quality and were installed with great care and attention to detail. Paul and his staff were meticulous in tidying up afterwards, leaving the lawn spotless. Phoned Paul to quote for cutting a large conifer hedge in my daughters garden, he arrived on time and quoted a very fair price so we agreed a day to do the work. On the day he was prompt and set to work straight away and didn't really stop for about 4 hours!! Everything was cleared away and he even used a blower on the lawn to remove the last pieces! April 2020 What a transformation! We recently moved into a property where the hedges had been neglected for years, and were massively overgrown. Paul and his colleague cut the hedges right back and shaped them nicely. Removed bramble that had become embedded in the hedges, and ivy that had taken over the garden. I had an overgrown garden where trees had merged into one. I couldn’t see where one plant started and the next one ended!
We needed help and Paul was on hand to help! We arranged a visit within a few days and fortunately Paul could fit us in just a few days after that. The end product is a thinned out space where we can now plant some small shrubs. Paul gave me some ideas about what we could plant. Hard working, friendly and a great job! I'd spent some time trying to get quotes for the removal of a huge blackberry bush and some work on an out of control honeysuckle bush but Pawel was the quickest to reply with a time to come and view and a very reasonable quote. The quality of work and materials was excellent and he kept me informed as to what he was doing, ensuring the work was being done to my satisfaction. I just wanted to recommend Paul as a gardener. I met him for the first time this week , I wanted a local gardener. He is so polite , pleasant and happy to please.
