To my eternal shame I only ever call Paul when my garden has got completely out of control…. This time a major hair cut was required, including lopping trees, trimming shrubs and removal of saplings and rooting out ivy brambles and weeds…A large job completed over several days.- As last time I’m very pleased with the result, and I’d recommend him and his team without reservation.
This review relates to our hedge maintenance service and tree pruning service services.
Paul has been reshaping and clearing my garden borders which has involved removing ivy from a wall, digging up some small trees, taming the climbing plants and clearing and turning over the soil in order to plant or relocate new shrubs.

I just wanted to recommend Paul as a gardener. I met him for the first time this week , I wanted a local gardener. He is so polite , pleasant and happy to please. Very efficient and tidy work at a good price. Paul and his colleague attended within the time stated to fell a tree that was beginning to interfere with my nieighbours house. They even grounded out the stump so the ground was levelled off. All arisings were cleared away to leave the garden clean and tidy. Paul, together with his equally hard working friend, replaced our pathways and borders (as seen in 'Lets not beat about the bush'. They worked very hard and I was extremely pleased with the result. I waited to write my review because I wanted to see what would transpire throughout the different seasons with regards to the plants. Paul did a very good job clearing an overgrown garden for my father. He worked around all the plants and shrubs so they could grow again and also ground some tree stumps to free up new space.

I'm very happy to recommend Paul. He was very smooth and quick, after I phoned him initially, he came around 2 days after to have a look on the work to be carried out, and he gave me a quote on the following day. I'm very happy with the results, it was a complex task, by first clearing a jungle and landscaping, and 2nd round was surface evening and turfing. I'm amazed by the results I got for my money. I had a large tree stump in a really inaccessible raised area, full of other overgrown shrubs/brambles/general jungle. Paul agreed to do the work on a Saturday to suit my calendar, and worked like a Trojan for a number of hours until the stump was no more. September 2021. Excellent, professional work! Paul trimmed a hedge (over 60 meters long and about 4m high). It was a big job as it had not been cut back for 2 years due to Covid. He was the most responsive person when I submitted a request for a quote. It was a quick turnaround . He was professional, worked incredibly hard and did an amazing job. We needed both the front and back garden to be made ready for a house sale. Tidy Gardens fulfilled my brief and more, adding extra tidying without being asked. Flower beds were dug over and weeded, and even pots ( with no plants) were cleaned, the AstroTurf swept, shrubs were trimmed and an obsolete tree removed.
