Gardening in Tilehurst
Paul and Eddie were back to trim our tree, grub out old buddleia and rampant ivy – all quickly and more importantly, professionally. Unlike previous firms we have used, every scrap was removed afterwards. Tidy Gardens have been our go to firm for years, and we wouldn’t dream of using anyone else. They’re the best.

I wish I had taken a photo of my garden before Paul and his team arrived. as it had extremely long wet grass, was very weedy with large overgrown shrubs. After Paul’s first visit, the wet grass had been cut back, shrubs pruned and weeds removed. Hard work and expertise
My garden had become quite overgrown and I was looking for a gardening team who have all the powertools, and can take the waste away, and who also know their plants. Paul and team were the only ones I found who could do this and they did a wonderful job.My paths have been cleaned, stumps ground, borders cleared of weeds and ivy and everything has been pruned.
Paul had some excellent ideas for other things we could do to improve the garden which I am sure I will take him up on very soon.
Overgrown Cypress Leylandii
Despite dreadful weather, Paul arrived punctually and worked tirelessly carrying out excellent work. He left the area perfectly clean and ‘tidy’. I was most impressed and now that my huge hedge has been brought under control I will be hiring Tidy Gardens on a regular basis.
Great impact on my garden
After I had neglected our large garden for several months, I hired TidyGardens to come and sort it out. They quickly made a great impact on the garden, cutting no corners. After a little over a day’s work I can now enjoy our garden again. I have asked TidyGardens to maintain the garden for me on an ongoing basis so I don’t let it get overgrown again.

Unusual garden service
Paul provides an unusual service – he knows what he’s doing! He can identify and name most plants, especially the difference between weeds and perennials unlike several of his competitors in the area. Added to that knowledge Paul and Radek provided a good service and created a very tidy garden in a few hours. Recommended.
September 2020. Professional, good quality work
Paul carried out removal of the existing lawn and re-laying new. He and his colleague turned up on time, carried out the work as agreed. The quality of work and materials was excellent and he kept me informed as to what he was doing, ensuring the work was being done to my satisfaction. After each day and upon completion he tidied up and left the premises clean and tidy. I would not hesitate to recommend his company.

I have used Paul’s professional services three times now for fencing, fence repairs and the laying of stepping stones. I will be honest, I could have done all these jobs myself, but I simply value my free time to do other things. I can only have Paul do these jobs for me because he is real value for money. buddleia cut back
Paul came very promptly to quote for chopping our enormous budliea. His quote was very reasonable and he returned next day to carry out the work. Very professional, gave sound advice about other plants in the garden, did a great job and took all rubbish away. Also cleaned up very thoroughly afterwards. I just wanted to recommend Paul as a gardener. I met him for the first time this week , I wanted a local gardener. He is so polite , pleasant and happy to please. He left the garden very tidy and neat after completing the weeding and trimming. I also have asked him to return to do some fencing for me ,I would thoroughly recommend Paul to any body.
