Mid of January 2019 and we are getting busy – pruning, hedge trimming, garden tidy ups, shrubs and trees removal
This week we are fully booked up – just before a forecasted cold snap expected to hit us very soon, but will it ? 😉
What’s been done and what’s still ahead of us is listed below:
On Tuesday a garden tidy up ( trimming, strimming, mowing, green waste removal and laurel hedges cut ) – DONE

On Wednesday some fruit trees pruned and a big leilandii hedge trimming – DONE

To my eternal shame I only ever call Paul when my garden has got completely out of control…. This time a major hair cut was required, including lopping trees, trimming shrubs and removal of saplings and rooting out ivy brambles and weeds…A large job completed over several days.- As last time I’m very pleased with the result, and I’d recommend him and his team without reservation.
Paul has done several large jobs for us in the garden over the last year – getting trees out, creating beds, reducing boundary tree height, fence building – and he has always provided an excellent service.
He has proved to be a reliable and hard worker, and has always given us very fair prices.
He’s a nice chap too 🙂
Paul and colleague did a superb job trimming back a long run of mixed bushes that had been in place over 30 years. We wanted them cut back in size for easier trimming, and Paul first advised us what to do and warned us how it would look for a few months until the leaves grew back. We were very happy with his advice and the end result, and the great way they cleared everything up afterwards leaving the garden very neat and tidy. Now it’s up to nature to complete the transformation! We would recommend Tidy Gardens to anyone wanting garden work, no matter how complicated.

Not a huge but quite overgrown leylandii hedge with narrow access to the back garden. Hedge reduction and trim on both sides and top.
2 trailers worth of green waste.. there was a bit of a surprise when we started picking up cut,dead branches from inside it..
Turned out whoever trimmed that hedge in the past had tucked all the branches in the crown, so we had like double ther amount of waste to dispose off.
Nevertheless job done, client happy, even very happy..
Paul has been reshaping and clearing my garden borders which has involved removing ivy from a wall, digging up some small trees, taming the climbing plants and clearing and turning over the soil in order to plant or relocate new shrubs.
I can now see the small garden path which had been covered in weeds for years! The shrubs now have a chance to thrive and survive the winter. Throughout, he has been industrious and thorough in tackling each of the problem areas. He is also knowledgeable…

Overgrown Cypress Leylandii Despite dreadful weather, Paul arrived punctually and worked tirelessly carrying out excellent work. He left the area perfectly clean and ‘tidy’. Outstanding job
We asked Paul at Tidy Gardens to undertake a major garden clearance – topping out overgrown trees, taking out and thinning bushes and general ground clearance.

Garden maintenance and clearance. Very pleased with the work that Paul and his colleague carried out for us. Ivy, plants, brambles in an overgrown section of our garden were all cleared as requested. Garden Makeover - March 2017 My garden has resemble a wasteland for several years. Paul and Eddie started work on it early on Monday morning and by Saturday afternoon they had transformed it into a lawn, neatly edged with brick paving, with a flower bed at the rear ready for new plants. January 2017. Good Job, well done. Paul and his colleague had their work cut out with our very overgrown garden. Turning up promptly at the time they said they would, they cracked on and very soon had cleared the ivy, brambles and nettles that had taken over. They also trimmed two mature and large hedges as well as mature shrubs and gave the patio area a very thorough weed and clean. All the waste was swept up and taken away. October 2018. Taming the jungle!
I had an overgrown garden where trees had merged into one. I couldn’t see where one plant started and the next one ended!
We needed help and Paul was on hand to help! We arranged a visit within a few days and fortunately Paul could fit us in just a few days after that.
The end product is a thinned out space where we can now plant some small shrubs. Paul gave me some ideas about what we could plant.
