Paul came very promptly to quote for chopping our enormous budliea. His quote was very reasonable and he returned next day to carry out the work. Very professional, gave sound advice about other plants in the garden, did a great job and took all rubbish away. Also cleaned up very thoroughly afterwards. Paul and his colleague came to my father’s garden to carry out a big tidy up. They are very hardworking and did a great job cutting back a very overgrown hedge, tidying borders, mowing and clearing away all the waste afterwards. Also great communication, emails and text answered promptly too

Hi I hired Paul to provide an end of tenancy clear up of a back garden. His work and guidance were superb – the garden was transformed and all garden refuse removed. His quote was competitive and he worked hard to complete the job. More than happy to recommend him.
Paul carried out some work on my property today. It was a relatively small job (extending a path using paving stones) which took him and his colleague about a day to complete. He and his colleague turned up on time and then proceeded to carry out the work as agreed. Paul & team did a great job doing a new tenancy clean up (thorough clean, carpet/curtain wash & garden tidy) for a house we’re letting out in quick time & at a good price. I live in central Reading and needed trees removing, bushes removing, and other bits. The guys did a fantastic job. They not only did exactly what I wanted but went further – they hauled out bits of cement and took away extra stuff that I hadn’t realised I would need removing. We asked Paul at Tidy Gardens to undertake a major garden clearance – topping out overgrown trees, taking out and thinning bushes and general ground clearance.
Not only did his team do an outstanding job, but was flexible around timing, offered us great advice and even kept the neighbours happy. We could not recommend him highly enough to others who need either a major makeover like us or regular maintenance.
We needed both the front and back garden to be made ready for a house sale. Tidy Gardens fulfilled my brief and more, adding extra tidying without being asked. Flower beds were dug over and weeded, and even pots ( with no plants) were cleaned, the AstroTurf swept, shrubs were trimmed and an obsolete tree removed. We couldn’t have asked for a better job and in the rain too. Both gardens look fantastic. Highly, highly recommended.
We moved recently and the small garden was very overgrown. However, with the help of Paul and Eddie we now have a completely renovated garden with new patio areas, lawn and flower beds. We are so pleased with the result. Paul and Eddie worked tirelessly and were extremely professional. Paul is quite knowledgeable about plants and garden design and they both took great pride in their work. We would definitely recommend them.

October 2020. Excellent result! I have just had my front lawn returfed and my rear lawn aerated and top dressed by Paul and his team. Paul is always my first choice for any gardening projects and, as always, the work was carried out quickly and efficiently. They work through all weather conditions and make sure everything is tidy before they leave. I highly recommend them.
April 2020 What a transformation! We recently moved into a property where the hedges had been neglected for years, and were massively overgrown. Paul and his colleague cut the hedges right back and shaped them nicely. Removed bramble that had become embedded in the hedges, and ivy that had taken over the garden. Paul has been reshaping and clearing my garden borders which has involved removing ivy from a wall, digging up some small trees, taming the climbing plants and clearing and turning over the soil in order to plant or relocate new shrubs.
I can now see the small garden path which had been covered in weeds for years! The shrubs now have a chance to thrive and survive the winter. Throughout, he has been industrious and thorough in tackling each of the problem areas. He is also knowledgeable…
